Avocado's Amazing for Uterine Health
Here's Why!
Is an avocado a fruit or a vegetable? And what makes a fruit a fruit and a vegetable a vegetable? These are things that I think about. Both fruits and vegetables come from plants, and it can be hard to distinguish between them. While fruits develop from a plants flower and often contain seeds, vegetables usually consist of stalks, flower buds, roots or leaves. According to science an avocado is a fruit even though it’s technically not “sweet” like you would assume a fruit is supposed to be. Well, this not so sweet fruit is great for uterine health!
Trying to get pregnant? Avocados may help increase fertility and your chances of a healthier pregnancy. Studies show avocados, are showing positive results when trying to conceive. So, cheers to some avocado toast for breakfast. Avocados are high in nutrients. These babies are nutrient dense with folic acid which is abundant for preconception health.
Your new favorite toast topper is also great for your sex life. Avocados are plentiful in healthy fats, vitamin B-6, and potassium all of which have a positive effect on your libido. This fruit can enhance lubrication and estrogen levels, and even strengthen vaginal walls. Fun fact: The avocado tree was actually loosely named the “testicle-tree” by the Aztecs.
Today’s research shows that women who eat at least one avocado a week; it balances their hormones, sheds excess baby weight and helps to prevent cervical cancer. Another fun fact: The stone in the avocado resembles a baby in the womb and it takes exactly nine months for one avocado to grow from a blossom to a ripened fruit. Isn’t that crazy?
My advice to any women trying to conceive, go enjoy an avocado a day/or an avocado a week. Enhance your chances of getting pregnant while increasing your sex drive at the same time. It doesn’t get any easier than that. Avocados should be in every woman’s diet if you ask me. The health benefits are too grand not to be enjoying and taking advantage of. Does this article make you want to go eat some avocado toast? Because I’m headed to the kitchen to go make me one right now 🙂
